An original storyboard project based on a short comedy script I wrote about two aliens assigned to monitor Earth from orbit. It’s part sci-fi, part workplace satire, with a touch of existential dread.
I approached this piece with an emphasis on minimal setups and storytelling in its simplest, most purposeful form. Drawing inspiration from Hitchcock’s direction and the principle of Chekhov’s gun, every shot is designed to serve the plot or reveal character.
The full cold open runs six pages. I’ve fully boarded the first two pages and included rough thumbnails. I'll be posting a layout and background design soon.
Page one from a 6-page cold open for a monster movie I wrote. It’s about a giant mutant poodle that terrorises Earth. Kind of like Sharknado, but fluffier. Totally ridiculous, made for kids… and the grown-up kids who love this stuff just as much.
